When I search for a message in Chat, the result opens in a side panel with no way to view it in the full conversation timeline. This makes search nearly useless because messages only have meaning in context.

Expected behavior: Clicking a search result should scroll the main chat view to that message's location in the conversation, highlighted, so I can see what came before and after it.

Why it matters:

Searching for a message you sent to find what it was replying to is currently impossible

Every other chat tool (Slack, Teams, Discord) has this as a baseline feature

Without it, the only option is manually scrolling through potentially months of messages

Current workaround:

None that's practical. You can try to find a unique phrase from a nearby message and search again, but that's circular.
