Improve 'Remind me' experience

When I choose a 'remind me' time for a chat, the reminder gets too buried that it doesn't get my attention. Ideally the reminder would either show a count in my chat sidebar, or send me a Inbox notification.
The current location of the reminder (Home, or on a sub-tab of the FollowUps tab in Chat) is too subtle that my reminders do not get my attention.

We added new and improved reminders to ClickUp as part of 4.0!
Now, you can save a comment/message for later, or right-click it and set a reminder by picking the date and time. You can also remind yourself about a task itself too!
These Reminders appear in Inbox where you can complete them or snooze them for later.
Still prefer standalone reminders that aren't tied to objects? Use the tool in the top right of your screen to create one!

Improve Reminders/Automations to be more useful around waiting to hear response/updates
B
Brandon Gresham
Reminders and Automations are great. Except they can't be applied to emails that I'm waiting to hear a response on, nor a task whose status remains unchanged for a specified period of time -- which greatly limits them.
Anytime I send an email, I should be able to designate it as "watch for response" and set a date by which I want to be reminded to follow up with that person if they haven't replied to my email by that date.
Similarly, I should be able to create an automation that looks at all tasks with a given property (let's say, "remind me of this task if no update is made to it by a certain date") and once the date set arrives, if I have not updated that task since then, a reminder is automatically surfaced to me.
Basically, I need automations to keep an eye on emails/tasks for me so that important things don't continue to just slip forever without my realizing it.
My current solution to email-reminders is to manually create email-reminders by manually adding a comment an email's task that says "follow-up with John if he doesn't reply to my email" and then scheduling a reminder a week or two out -- but this is annoying b/c it requires manually setting up the reminder and then it persists even if John DOES reply, surfacing a week later and causing me to have a
TON
of unneeded reminders that I have to sift through and analyze which ones I have to take action on vs which I do not.My current solution to task-reminders is either the same, or perpetually setting the due date 2 weeks from today and repeating doing so until whatever the "thing" is that I'm waiting for allows me to progress the task to the next stage of work.
Both represent work-arounds that suck, take time to setup and manage, and can be highly-distracting to the actual work I need to do on a given day.
I love Clickup! I would love it so much more if it could help me keep an eye on things that I am
WAITING
on -- current reminders are too manual and automations only act on things I have already updated. Thanks!

Set time to reminders

Would be great if you had something like todosit where you can set a reminder for the day and time.
(e.g reminder for 3pm pops up at 3pm)

Would be great to have reminders (e.g. The Remind Me feature, on task comments) send notifications by email and in the notification centre as well (on top of the homepage).

Reminders Card - Improvements & Dashboard Availability
Robert Hudman
Hi Guys
The more I use ClickUp, the more I am finding Reminders essential for use.
However, there are some real limitations with reminders card that need to be addressed.
I have the following feedback and request for improvement of the card itself
- Show more detail - I would like to see the location the task reminder is from
- Auto-expand reminders - the way it is always collapsed and I need to constantly expand it is annoying
- Overdue section should be at the top, not in the middle
- I would like to able to customise the fields showing against each reminder.
Additionally, I would like the reminder card to be available in all dashboards, so I can integrate this into other areas of ClickUp.
Cheers, Rob

Reminders should have a banner that pops up along with a sound.

Reminders are pretty useless if you don't have anything actually reminding you. A banner with sound would be great.

Reminders is Completely useless
Lesford “LJ” McKenzie
The reminders feature is completely useless and a waste of time to use. Not notification come up or alert (would be nice if this was an alarm or alerting system) but even just a notification would be beneficial for reminders maybe something is wrong with it as well cause even when I set to do a notification at time nothing happens when the time comes. This is a really needed feature in click up as notification all together if I am being honest is worst in class from all the other programs I have tested and used you guys have a nice feature set but notification system is terrible and almost makes the product more of a hindrance to us then help feel like I am always searching for what I need to be doing or feel like I am forgetting something even though there is all these tasks and everything in my workspace, feels like I can add things in but I have to manually find and search for them to work on anything no reminders, not updates, no nuges. Just extremely convoluted.

Better Reminders

I want to bring attention of dev team that Reminders feature is still requires lots of work and is way too incomplete.
Some major pain points for me:
- A quick create shortcut key (in task view to create a reminder for a task)
- Linked Reminders Tab (like task relationships which stores all the reminders associated to that task)
- Subtantially Improved Mobile visibility is required (currently this is way to skewed for any reminder based workflow on the go as I couldn't care of the link of a task but want its name to be visible with a dedicated button to access task details)
- Unbury remind me option in task view as a dedicated button if you really want it to become a leading feature (as was portrayed at the time of launch of Task Reminders feature)
- Better reminder notification settings (more time options, ability to select default settings for reminder notifications, geo-location based reminders, some connection to locations custom field in clickup, etc)
- Reminders for Lists, Docs, comments and checklist items (advance requirement but still welcomed)
Currently for me reminders are useless in clickup despite however the team wants to advertise it. Its way too halfbaked for any clickup based workflow.

Brendan W instead of 'bookmarking' a chat messager I think it would be better to Snooze it witht he option to set a small handfull of default times (Later today, tomorrow morning) tomorrow afternoon, next week,) and also "set a time" option to on the fly set a specific time. (Spark emails implimentation of this is a shining example. It allows the user to define what the defaut times are. Have a look if you can...)
This will make it vastly more useful than bookmarking, which also helps to avoid the mixing of a terminnology that is used elsewhere in ClickUp.

Jason Joseph Hey Jason!
On any comments across ClickUp, including Chat messages, you can click the ellipsis and choose to pick a date (see the photo below). This is the same as saving, but with a date (a reminder)!
You can also save a comment/message and turn it into a reminder using the toast that appears in the bottom left

Jason Joseph: You're welcome! Happy new year!

Brendan W Happy New Year ! I think that if this were a swipe perhaps I would have found it. Could it be built in as a swipe? (I posted about this elsewhere as well.)
Brendan W
Jason Joseph: Hey! Do you mean for mobile? If so, I'll pass your feedback along to our mobile product manager!
Jason Joseph
Brendan W I do...but can't you pass it along for me? (Here I thought we were friends...Ha.) (Sorry busy founder.. many hats. Pretty please. And thank you.)
Brendan W
Jason Joseph: I already did! I mentioned above that I would pass your feedback along.
