I would like to share some important feedback regarding the recent change that restricted guest access to chats. In my case, guests are my service providers, who play an essential role as part of my team. Before this change, we used ClickUp as a centralized solution to manage tasks and quick communications, all in one place.
With the removal of guest access to chats, we were forced to migrate our communication to another tool, which fragmented our workflow and reduced the efficiency that ClickUp used to provide. This change has negatively impacted my team's experience, and I believe other users might be facing similar challenges.
I would like to suggest that ClickUp reconsider this decision or, at the very least, provide an option for admins to enable chat access for guests, depending on the specific needs of each team.
