We use slack and want to transfer everything to clickup but every notification comes to desktop and mobile at the same time. this setting in slack is lifesaver. Can you implement this ?

Sync notification status desktop <> mobile app
André Rückbeil
I have ClickUp open on my desktop and the mobile App installed. Now I receive all notifications twice: on my desktop AND my mobile.
For example the Chat: I'm chatting with my colleague in a thread. Although I see the message in the thread immediately, I still get a notification on my cell phone. And so I have to delete the notification on my cell phone for every chat message I receive. Or I turn off the notifications on my cell phone completely, but then I don't notice it anymore if I'm not on my desktop.
It would be nice if it was synchronized whether the notification had already been read on the desktop.

When someone replies in a thread in a chat, the notification shows up on my phone app, but not on my computer

Limit Mobile Notifications For Chat While Using Desktop
Ben Valentin
When I'm on the desktop, I get WAYYY too many notifications on my mobile device.
It's a full-on badge every single message.
There should be something in-between "Following" and "Unfollow" for each chat-channel.
Similar to Slack, where I can see the "Bold" channel, that there's messages in there. But I don't get a notification unless they DM me or DM @Everyone
And in general, the mobile notifications should be muted while I'm active on Desktop. Because I get all the notifications on Desktop but then I have dozens of badge notifications on my phone still that I have to clear.

You should now see a setting at the bottom of your Notification Settings page, which allows you to control when ClickUp will send you mobile notifications!
Now, with this setting on, we won't send you mobile notifications if you're actively using ClickUp on a browser or desktop in the last 5 minutes.

Brendan W this is indeed an epic step forward. In the same vein though, Id love to see drafts carry over from mobile to desktop and vice versa al'la' Slack. That is a sorely missed feature. If you want to show them up...make a section in Chat and perhaps even in inbox called Drafts too.
Please by all means let me know if I should post this somewhere additionally.

Jason Joseph: Hey Jason! We don't currently have that ability, but its something we're thinking about adding soon.
After a quick search, I don't think there is a feature request for drafts across devices yet - feel free to make one!

Smart Notifications for Web <-> Mobile (Improved syncing of notifs)
Michael Van Doorn
Currently I receive mobile notifications even if I'm online which leads to me immediately clearing all notifications when I pick up my phone. For that moment I worry whether I've read them all or not and probably leads to missed notifications

Should be a choice. I definitely want it pushed to both, as I might be away from my computer with ClickUp still open, so then my phone won't get the notification when I would want it.
Brendan W
Guy Mannerings: We're able to detect if you're in focus on ClickUp in your browser to know where to send the notifications!

Brendan W What if I have ClickUp desktop/web on a second screen, or minimised, but I am actively working on my computer (just not in ClickUp)?
In that case, I want the notification to come on my computer, not on mobile, but I feel like it would look to ClickUp like I have been inactive on desktop/web? Or is that not the case?
Also, second scenario: I actually value having notifications on my phone as well as web, as some things I forget/miss/will know I will do later/want to do later... and the reminder notification that has come up on my phone is a useful reminder of that when I switch to my phone at a later point. ... So often I am like, "shoot, I have to do that thing! Glad that notification came up on my phone!" Hence, I would hate to lose notifications to both, as, in that case, it would only ever have gone to web/desktop. And so an option would be really useful.
Hope that makes sense! Sorry if I am misunderstanding!

Yes, this is a problem for me also. Slack has this for some time now.

++ this thing adds so many notifications. How do ClickUp's employees manage to use this :) You just open mobile app and just dismiss all the "garbage" that is actually already read on the desktop.

I have the same issue!
