Chats need a breadcrumb so we know where they are from. If you make a Chat view in a location, there is no breadcrumb shown for that in the Chat mode.
Folders, conversely, do have breadcrumbs and show where they are from.

Really need Breadcrumbs for Chat Channels, as there is no way to tell what location they belong to.
You can have Channels with the exact same name, and have no idea which is the right one to work in.

The Sidebar, yes. I have channels with the same - or nearly the same - name, so it gets confusing which I actually want to click on.

Guy Mannerings: On the Chat settings page, you can show sidebar labels which will show the parent name after the Channel name :)

It's because I was looking for something in the ellipses on the Channels area of sidebar.
Might be beneficial to add a link to Chat settings there.

You can now enable a setting in Chat to show the parent location of the Chat in your sidebar!

Adding to this, the actual chat sidebar needs some sort of breadcrumbs, too.
If you have two Folders or Lists with the same name, there is no way to distinguish them from each other and know what location each is from unless you click through to the chat itself.
