Chat replies count isn't included in the global Chat sidebar count

Hello, I receive notifications when I'm mentioned in a chat. Unfortunately, this doesn't work within threads. The number of unread messages, such as (5), should be displayed alongside the number of Chats or DMs I've been mentioned in.

We want to move from slack and use clickup only, but we would need our own notifications system for it, so you can decided your mobile notifications, and maybe have a little icon above the chat saying 1, or 2 etc. So you know you. have messages and you don't have to look at all of your notifications every time you get a message.

While working on getting the replies count into the global sidebar count for Chat, we're also looking to add the count of replies in the Chat sidebar too!
Do you think the Replies count should be
- The # of mentions you have
- The # of unread threads you have

Brendan W I’d prefer mentions but that’s because we’re big on tagging in our company so people are directed to the things they need to know and not be bombarded with things they don’t. I don’t mind either way, ultimately just need to know that there are replies there so we know to click through and then you click on the replies tab and see them all anyway.

Threaded chat replies don't show the red notification counter bubble icon on the sidebar chat icon (only shows for direct, non-threaded replies). So it's easy to miss threaded replies, unless going into Chat > Replies.

I would like to see a notification badge in my main chat panel, not only when I go into a certain chat. I see you currently show the grey chat bubble, but that doesn't catch my eye, and there is no notification badge in the browser's tab either

Hey Janko Januška! Just to clarify, you're not missing the actual notification, correct? Just that the count of the badge in your left sidebar only reflects mentions on a Chat or DMs, and any threaded reply notifications require you to visit the "Replies" page in Chat?

Brendan W Hello, Exactly Brendan. I have to open the chat to see the new replies. Additionally, new messages in "Replies" are not very noticeable at first glance because they are only highlighted with subtle bold text.

Brendan W I am also not getting notifications on replies (or actual chats) do the global settings override the chat specific notification settings?
Glad to see this is being addressed, chat feature is great but I keep missing replies.
