Ability to deactivate comments in any kind of Post inside a Channel

Feature request: option to deactivate comments in Posts of any kind inside a Channel, by the Author of the Post.
Some posts are meant to only be read and not publicly replied. The Deactivate Comments feature can take away unnecessary effort, if not misunderstandings, to say the least.
This feature idea is highly related with the ability to pin any kind of post (or comments within a post) within a Channel to give better visibility for all its users (https://feedback.clickup.com/chat-feedback/p/ability-to-pin-comments-to-a-channel) - I believe the latter is important to both Authors and Admins.
Update (2026-02-22): This feature focus only on Posts (Threads). It was tought/considered for the moment of publication or before any comment/reply is submitted within it.
I am not considering the behaviour nor have an opinion if the feature would or should allow users to disable comments while there are already comments made within it.

Hey Alexandre Bordovsky! Are you asking for users to not be able to reply (thread reply) to Posts, but allow them to thread reply to normal comments?

No, not that. My request is based that if comments are disabled/deactivated for a Post, there should be no comments inside a thread/Post so there would be no concern in replying any comment. But considering that the Author or an Admin could override that (reply in a thread where comments are disabled), that would still not be the case for other users be able to reply in any kind.
