Request for Per-User Activation Option for AI Notetaker

Hi ClickUp Team,
We were recently informed that the AI Notetaker feature requires activation across the entire workspace, rather than being available to select users. While we appreciate the value this tool offers—particularly for those involved in client meetings and sales—our organization has many team members who would not utilize this feature.
Requiring payment for all users in the workspace significantly increases our costs, despite only a subset of the team needing access. This pricing structure is making it difficult for us to adopt AI Notetaker, even though we see its potential benefits in targeted use cases.
We would like to request that ClickUp consider offering per-user activation and billing for AI Notetaker. This would allow businesses like ours to manage costs effectively while enabling relevant team members to leverage the tool.
We’re happy to participate in a pilot or provide further context if it helps.

I would consider purchasing notetaker AI, but the current pricing and offer is beyond my needs. A pay-as-you-go with rollover minutes would be preferable. I.e. $5 for 600 minutes that don't expire, or at least last 1 year from purchase. Otherwise my meetings are already natively recorded in Google Meet (Gemini Notes) or within Zoom. The notetake AI integration is nice, but as a solopreneur conducting 5-10 hours of calls a month, the pricing model is overkill.

As a freelance artist, I use Fathom notetaker as it permits 5 hours/month for all premium features for free. I think it makes sense for ClickUp to consider a similar pricing for Notetaker for small businesses that are focused on growth.

I am in the same position. I am currently using Fireflies and not loving it, and would be delighted to move to ClickUp AI Notetaker, but I would be the only person in my team to use it for the moment, so financially it doesn't make sense.
