Unrealistic character limitation in API for Chat

In the v3 API for the Chat (Experimental), the "content" body param is limited to only 980 characters which is really low when dealing with markdown. I am trying to post some github changelogs where each line has a github link embedded, and my post boils down to 10~ list items at max. It would be really helpful if the limit is generously increased.

Thanks for flagging this, and thanks Bruno for confirming. The limit on
content
for Chat messages was raised from 980 to 40,000 characters in March 2025. That's the same cap the ClickUp app uses, and it applies to creating messages, replying, and editing.B
