Zeb - this is also missing from ClickUp export (currently only top-level comments are exported)

Marty Papamanolis: Interesting that seems like an oversight, will fix it. Which export are you using the list view export? Or global export

Zeb - initially tested with Global export, but since tried list view export and seems only "Latest Comment" is available in there even if "Comments" column is added (only shows comment count)

Zeb this is actually pretty painful oversight as if you want to do anything over the API that relies on comments, sadly the API is missing most of the data as it only returns the top-level comments and none of the threaded conversation within. To make matters worse, the webhooks also don't trigger for new comments within a thread. :(
To top it all off, we decided to disable threaded comments to avoid the API problems, but that's a no-go... it just hides all threaded comments so years of conversation disappear into the ethos!
Otherwise, love Clickup, keep up the great work :)

Zeb amazing stuff. Thanks so much for getting that updated so quickly — clearly still an agile business even with all that incredible growth! We've now fixed our use case and have visibility of posted threaded comments.
The only issue is that there is still no alert on the webhook for threaded comments from what I could see from our testing.

Or how about simply to GET threaded comment replies. How can a core part of the task data structure not be available via API? How can clickup release this as a "complete" feature, when the API has large holes in the task data?

Would like to be able to import threaded comments and thread task comments via the API. Currently, this is not available. As customers migrate from other tools it would be ideal to keep the message board threading of any items import.

It would be very nice to get complete conversations about each task.
We have tried to give customers permission to see the conversations, but it looks like this is not possible. The customer is able to see every comment on a task instead of just selected ones. So we thought we could create a custom webapp that only contains email conversations or other specific comments that customers are allowed to view.Unfortunately, this doesn't really work :(. Another useful feature would be if the comments would get an automatic tag describing if it is an email or an internal comment, etc.
