Hey all, thank you again for your feedback on this post. With the launch of ClickUp 3.0 we've seen strong improvement in performance. Overall app performance has increased by 2x, tasks and List views by 3x, and search is 5x faster!
We've also launched RapidViews DB, an innovative new database technology that loads that largest and most complex views almost instantly. Views that previously took 30 seconds now take around 1 second to load!
Having focused on performance and speed improvements in 3.0 we'll be closing this post.
We understand, though, that each ClickUp Workspace is unique so if you are still experiencing slow speeds in your Workspace, please reach out directly to our team here so we can investigate with you.

We have 18 licenses on our team and everyone is suffering from slowness on the ClickUP platform, in the web version, and even worse in the application itself. Opening folders, lists, clicking, inserting, editing or opening tasks, any information input takes forever, EVERYTHING, is taking an unrealistic amount of time to be executed. At least 10, 15, 30 seconds, sometimes an endless loading depending on the size of a project list. I have never had such a bad experience on a task management platform and I can't find a solution on the internet. We would like some real support because we can't go on like this anymore. And there's no banner message at the top of our workspace mentioning high usage, but even though it was an intended use, I never had this problem with other platforms. And please don't ask me to clear cache, or delete and reinstall, or update. Nothing works.

This is still a MAJOR ISSUE and getting worse!!! I can barely even mark tasks complete anymore or change dates, it takes like 30 seconds - 2 minutes for the minor changes to take effect. It did NOT used to be this bad.... please reopen this ticket.

The slowness started with 3.0 it seems... Today I'm struggling to work because you click... you wait... and then it brings up what you want... that's every click. For a prouctivity focused tool, this is the exact opposite.

ClickUp is incredibly slow; this issue has prevented certain teams in our business from adopting (and even abandoning) the software, opting for Google Sheets over ClickUp as a preference.
I believe this has been a longstanding issue (years now). Is there anything on the roadmap to improve caching/load time/application performance? We love ClickUp, and it's a big part of our daily operations, but this is not playable, unfortunately.

This should not be marked as complete. For me, the slowness issue did not really even START until 3.0, so I'd say is continuing to get worse and worse.
Too bad, as I consider Clickup a close to perfect app for my needs. I'll have to leave soon if performance doesn't improve as Clickup is by far the laggiest software I use.

Luci N.It's problem for all of us. I have also reported it multiple times, we have tried to setup a call but that didn't happen. Also it's hard to catch because it's not always so laggy. But I would say 80% of time.

We're experiencing the same problem. We use +- 20 licenses. The work is being greatly hampered due to the slowness. We set up sprints with ClickUp and most of the meeting time should be waiting for tasks and lists to load. It's terrible.
Version 3 didn't improve that issue.

I have the impression that Clickup works more and more slowly and I am starting to look for alternatives :( Seriously, instead of throwing in more unnecessary AI functions, finally take care of the performance of the entire application, because in the end your customers will lose patience.
