I use the ClickUp connector in Claude all day, in both the desktop app and claude.ai. It runs my task list, purchasing, and project tracking. Before the recent change it was the most useful tool I had connected.
Now every ClickUp tool call draws a full card in the chat. That includes the lookups Claude makes on its own to answer a question. In the attached recording I asked one ordinary question about a 12-task list. Claude did a list lookup and then read each task.
Proposed solutions:
  • A setting to turn the inline cards off and get plain results like before.
  • Cards only for the task I asked about, not for the background lookups.
  • A compact card: task name, status, due date, link.
