I would like an api to create a doc using doc template.
This would make it easier, for example, to take minutes of daily meetings or create documents associated with tasks that have occurred.

I am also interested!
Bu in my case I would like to create a page in an existing doc outside the list/task :
"When status change from x to y > create a page in this doc (blue arrow) > name it with task name + link doc to task + use custom field 1 as a tag".
Why? I want a doc that group all the texts from this list + for now on, each task don't need a page/text as long as it doesn't reach an certain point of completion.
So far, I didn't find a way to do that or a workaround so I have to do it manually.

We need the ability to create Docs from saved templates using either:
- ClickUp Automations (e.g. “When folder is created → create Doc from template”)
- ClickUp API (e.g. POST /docs using template_id)
This is essential for:
Client onboarding (automated strategic briefs)
SOPs and internal documentation
Creative and marketing briefs
Currently, we can do this manually, but automation support would significantly streamline workflows and ensure consistency across projects.
