Any updates on this? This remains practically the only major downside of ClickUp for us…
Jason Locher
We've hit this exact wall building internal capacity-planning tooling. The per-member weekly capacity set in Workload view ("Set Capacity") is not readable through any public v2/v3 endpoint — the internal endpoint that serves it (data/v3/.../schedule_exceptions) rejects personal tokens and OAuth outright with ECODE JWT_008, session JWTs only.
We're a paying workspace (ID 90131641330) with admin-level token auth, and the token owner can see these values in the UI — so this is purely an API surface gap, not permissions. A minimal read-only endpoint (or capacity as a field on GET /team member objects) fully unblocks external utilization tooling and removes the human error of mirroring hours into custom fields by hand.
Support ticket filed: [ticket #2712929]. Happy to beta test.

Will be great this suggestion is open for public comments

Seeing and updating the workload via API would be massive for our agency. We sell hours, and we can't see our inventory in our other systems (when selling) or update them when inventory is sold 🤣

This is a big priority for us - we need to share capacity with our partners of they won't assign us work. We need to therefore get this out of the API

to sync workload capacity is a must also for us. we need to sync workload capacity over API from other sources.

We would to see this as well. This is very handy for external applications, being able to get the member capacity settings from ClickUp via API.
