Allow Statuses to be Updated at the Space Level via API

I would like to be able to have the ability to set the default statuses to be used by the Space via API. Right now, when the Space is created via API, it's only giving me the "To Do" and "Complete" statuses by default and I'm not able to change those statuses via API. The screenshot from Postman shows what I'd like to be able to update via a PUT payload and the screenshot from the UI shows how this is accomplished via browser.

I'm having the same issue with an app I'm building! +1 for adding API support to manage statuses at the space and list level. It's a huge blocker for automation and workspace setup. Would love to see this prioritized.
