Turkish Language Support (Acilll!!!)
Burak KORAL
At this point the issue ceased to be a “feature request” anymore, it turned directly into a matter of respect for a user.
The fact that the demand for Turkish language support, which has been repeatedly voiced since 2021, still has not been met, shows that Clickup is in serious contradiction with its claim to be a global product. The fact that a platform that appeals to users from around the world has ignored for years a language spoken by millions of people is a problem of priority rather than a technical shortcoming.
Moreover, what we are talking about here is not a complex infrastructure transformation. Turkish is not a language written from right to left, it does not require special character sets, its technical integration is relatively simple. Despite this, the fact that it has been postponed for years by being called “soon” reinforces the feeling that users are not being taken seriously.
A demand left unmet for so long in a market such as Turkey that is young, productive and rapidly adapting to digital tools hurts not only user experience, but also brand perception. People no longer just look at what the product offers, but how much they are valued.
To be even more clear:
Users have shown patience for years. He gave feedback. He demanded. Reminded. He waited.
But he did not see a concrete step in return.
This situation is now “can it be done?” not the question, but “why is it not done?” begs the question.
If ClickUp really wants to become a global player, you have to rethink this approach. Because going global doesn't just start with gaining users in different countries, it starts with speaking the language of those users.
And yes, this is a call:
Now Turkish language support is not an “option”, but an overdue necessity.
