Hi ClickUp Team,
I've been exploring ClickUp and I'm ready to fully commit to it as my primary platform — honestly, it's the best task management tool I've ever come across.
One request that would make a huge difference: Japanese UI localization.
Japan has a unique business culture that is deeply tied to its own language. Without a Japanese interface, many companies here simply won't adopt the tool — not because it isn't great, but because the language barrier is a dealbreaker in this market.
The good news? With AI-assisted translation, the cost and effort of high-quality Japanese localization has never been lower.
If this gets implemented, I would personally evangelize ClickUp to companies in my network here in Japan. I genuinely believe this is one of the highest-ROI localizations you could invest in.
This request has been open since 2018. Seven years is a long time to wait — it's time to finally unlock the Japanese market. Please make it happen!

ClickUp is one of the best task management tools I’ve ever used, and I haven’t found anything that matches its quality here in Japan.
I would love to see a Japanese language version of ClickUp.
It would make the platform much more accessible for Japanese users, and I’d be excited to recommend it to more people around me.
Please consider adding Japanese language support in the future.

We understand that ClickUp uses easy-to-understand English words. However, the extent to which Japanese people struggle to understand English is beyond your imagination. We urgently request Japanese localization as soon as possible!

Our dev team mainly operates in ClickUp. We might move away from it if the UI still won't have any Japanese language in the roadmap...

I noticed that despite significant voting activity since as early as 2018, Japanese language support still hasn’t been implemented after more than 7 years.
Considering that clickup landing pages are available in Japanese and Korean, it's surprising — and frankly disappointing — that none of the Asian languages are supported within the actual product.
