We just switched over to ClickUp and this is making me crazy. I am removing the Google sync feature because a million bright purple events is making my head spin. This seems like the easiest feature to implement!!

Hi all, I am with zzBots. Since ClickUp doesn't have colors yet, you could use a custom colored tag on all the tasks synced from Google Calendar.
With our 1-Way and 2-Way syncs this is possible. Once installed you will need to adjust the bot to specify that each task synced from Google Calendar to ClickUp will have a colored "Google Calendar" tag or such.
You can also do this the other way around, where each event that has been synced to Google Calendar has a specific color.
One big reason people decide to switch to us is, our syncs work in realtime and keep your tasks and events up to date and in sync. Along with limitless custom syncs.

Oh my goodness. Why was this not designed in the platform?

The only thing preventing me from using clickuClickUpp as a calendar! love the fact that I can add tasks directly onto the calendar view but please the bright purple has to go :D If not supporting google color sync, at least give us the option to select a different color.

Please add this feature, it's the thing that constantly makes me think about leaving click up for something else. Why can't they just import in the same colour as they are on your Google calendar. Iv tried other apps like motion, which do this perfectly but I like click up overall more, so please add this asap

For now I'm using Make.com to import events since they use the Google Calendar Color API feature - not ideal but the ability to choose colors based on the calendar type is huge. Ability to change the color per list on the Google end shouldn't be too hard to implement.

Pretty, pretty please. Need to be able to differentiate between different calendar types quickly. Thanks!
