Right click on a message in slack should have the possibility to create a task with the text of that message as task subject. If text is too long put the rest in description. Also it would be magic if you could copy a pic which is attached to that message also to the task.

We use Zap to automatically create task from a slack channel. it will be really helpful to pull the attachment through from slack automatically

Uploaded files to Slack should also properly attach when using the Attach Comment Action so images shared can be attached to a task.

When I use Clickup Extension of Slack to create a task, I found that is too hard to use.
- every time I need to choose the list, but I always create task into same list
- I want to use the Slack message as task name directly but it cant
- If the Slack message have some images, I want to it can embed to the description.
Please fix these issues as soon as possible to help increase our work efficiency. Thank you.

We’d love to learn more about how you’re using this flow so we can build the right solution. A few quick questions:
- Would setting a default list per Slack channel work best, or would you want a single global default for all task creation?
- When turning a message into a task, do you usually edit the task name afterward, or is using the original message text enough?
- Would you like the task title to be AI-generated based on the message the task was created from?
- What kind of attachments do you usually share within Slack?
- Would it be helpful to automatically assign tasks based on the Slack user who created it or user who posted a message?
- Are there any other steps you’d like to automate when turning Slack messages into ClickUp tasks?

Ensure Slack files, especially images, attach correctly when using the Attach Comment Action for tasks. This blog is a gem—exactly what I needed! Hoping for more. It’s reasonable to expect seamless integration, just like mastering Drift Boss requires focus.

I'm using the default Slack integration and ridiculous that attachments and images from Slack message are not included in the Create Task or Comment action. Every time I have to wait for task to appear and then copy and paste the image from the Slack message, I see Zeb Evans' smug face saying he'll save me a day a week, yet a simple (and promoted) integration loses me an hour a day. Ahhhh!
