Task Colors Across Views

My coworker and I were discussing how it would be super helpful if you could change the colour of "cards" or "tasks" according to lists. Right now you can assign a colour to a list, but it doesn't do much beyond that. If you could make it so while viewing a whole project each task had a colour according to its list, it would make it much easier to track progress. Whether the whole background changed colour, or you made the borders of the tasks change colour, it would be a super useful feature. This is specifically related to board view, but could potentially be applied to box or list as well.

Just joined clickup and it would be very useful if could change tasks color based on location. We moved from shortcut (because of their docs) but in shortcut it was very convenient when you can distinguish tasks between projects based on color (not only for calendar view but for board view as well)

+1 for this. Would be helpful for calendar views where we would prefer to color code based on task type rather than status. Status could be a portioned off corner of color and text, or just text.

Color coding things makes life so much easier to see things at a glance. It would be great if the color coding of relationships carried over to the related list and even colored the task.

This feature will be extremely useful.

Hello, it would help immensely if a task card in the board view could have a color based on different things e.g. status or they could copy the color from their original list

Hey people, any update on this? Also to add - with the new "Task Type" Feature, would be good to be able to assign a colour to the task type specifically

I would like to be able to assign a colour to a take so I know what kind of task it is. e.g. Green is new task, Red is Dective item task, yellow is return to site task, Orange is Maintenance task etc.

Give us option to add/edit text color, size etc. or task row background color in list view.
Similar to Excel or MS Project

A current workaround I've come up with is to do the following:
- Create a Custom Field(CF) named,Calendar Color.
- Add that CF into your Everythingview.
- In Calendar View Settings > Color tasks by, set it as that new Calendar Color CF.
This way, the CF is available across the entire Workspace. Handy for creating new tasks and the CF is already there to select your Calendar Color.
Attached is a preview of my weekly calendar view with the custom Calendar Color CF applied to my scheduled tasks.
P.S. darkmode is life

Unless I am mistaken, it seems to me that tasks cannot be colored. A useful option is to have the ability to color the tasks
