Agreed, though, on a widescreen, I still wouldn't use this in most cases. Whenever I share or record a screen, I almost always need to share a custom portion of the screen. The whole screen is too much. You might ask, why not just share the whole browser window? The luxury of having the widescreen when recording is that I can pull multiple windows in and out of view as appropriate without stopping sharing and re-sharing.

I understand this may not be everyone's experience, and I agree with the original commentator that it should be implemented. But, if during the planning stage, the ClickUp team can evaluate if this is possible and helpful to others, it would be a chef's kiss 🙌

I work around this by recording the screen via Descript's Mac app, which supports custom screen dimensions. I have previously used Loom similarly. For this, I like Loom's features better than Descript's, but I have rationalised subscriptions to cut costs.

Interesting idea, this is something we're missing as well. For now, we tackle this by using a separate screen-sharing tool when we need to share the entire desktop. It would be great to see this feature implemented directly in SyncUp.
