Ability to change the width of the task title column to be more narrow

Hey, everyone!
This is quite an old request (2020) and since then the 'Name' column in List view has been made resizable (See GIF).
We are seeing some recent votes & comments here, is the request that the 'Name' column can be made even smaller? We see a few comments on this but want to make sure we capture all asks.

The task name column is the only one you aren't allowed to change the width of in list view for some reason. There is a lot of dead space to the right of my task names that won't go away even though I have columns that are off to the right of the screen that I need to scroll over to see.

We currently have inventory in a list and the task names are only six characters long each. This creates a lot of dead space that we are not able to condense between these columns for some unknown reason. This is the only column that we cannot reduce the size of. (the screenshot below shows this column in the smallest configuration we can possible make it)
Please allow this column to be resized however small or large you need it, so it does not take up so much unnecessary space on our screens.
The problem is even worse since ClickUp does not allow you to hide the Task Name column either, so we are stuck with this massive empty space in List View. This has forced us to Table View.

Please allow the task name column to be resized even smaller. The task name column cannot be sized smaller than a certain width, wasting valuable screen space. This isn't as big of an issue on desktop, but when on mobile or sharing your public lists, the task name column takes up more than 50% of the viewable room, leaving hardly anything for the other columns to be scrolled / viewed side-by-side.

Attached photo for reference on mobile when view is 100%. This is only usable when the zoom is reduced to about 50%, which most users or clients we share to would not know how to do.

Michael Van Doorn - Yes you can make it WIDER, but only so narrow. We need to be able to make it much smaller. see other similar comments in this thread.

Allow the Task column to be adjusted more narrow in List view. Currently it defaults to a very wide view and cannot be s,aller than 30 or 40 characters. We have some tasks that only have a 2 character name and the large area that is currently required for a task field limits out display

Agreed... Still an issue 3+ years later. Super Agents are now available, but not the ability to let an individual decide on space needed for this single field?

Yes PLEASE. There's no reason to not allow us to adjust the name column. Just set a default width and if the user wants it smaller, let them do that.
I'm using the Name column for order numbers which only have 4 digits, so it's a huge waste of space and makes it difficult when tracking across to the next column.

Yes, we want the even smaller name.
Much of the available monitor space is wasted in this field.
