This is a fundamental requirement for any serious large project. Currently its too easy for any user to radically mess with a schedule. How do you create a baseline or any performance measures if the entire project can be altered by any user?
This is seriously holding me back from committing to this platform.
I am used to the granular field level permissions on platforms like salesforce.com (which has had this capability for more that 15 years!!)
Would be good to know in clickup is committed to implement this and in what timeframe.

There are several of these requests. I left a more robust post on another one. This is project management 101. Some dates are fixed and cannot be pushed if a prerequisite task is not started on time.
Madison DeLage
please!!!!

100%... just moved 10 tasks to my tray and had the due dates changed to "today" so I lost the original information of the due dates... what a pain to check each task to reset
Juan Manuel Aguirre
This is a big issue in my team since time tracking for certain activities can be tricked by people not doing their job on time

As the owner of the workspace (PM of a project), you should have access to lock fields, not just due dates, to other users. This is a feature on Monday.com and is a basic feature that all ClickUp plans should have.

Please lock due-date changes so not everybody can change them. This is affecting compliance and capacity.

Laura Barnard
