Add a feature with the % Task Complete field to auto calculate Parent tasks from subtasks! For any PM this is a critical indicator when showing status to stakeholders.

Adding vote here: having this possibility for each task column to summarize the subtask's content (assignee, dates, status, time spent) is gold. A lot of other similar platforms do that, please ClickUp give us this.

The time and manual work that this feature would save users is immense. This should definitely not be a backlog request (since 2019). I'm hoping the priority of this will be acknowledged and raised, and that we will see updates on this very soon.

Kristina Ota it's wild that this still isn't implemented. There's too much focus on "fancy" (for lack of a better term) features at the expense of basic functionality.

I am surprised this wasn't possible from the get go... Manually adding for every task is tedious! Will be great when this happens (please make it soon!)

Any updates? I'd love it if we could create an automation so that when a subtask is created, to auto select a (or multiple) custom field to match the parent task.

Similarly, would it be possible to have information put into subtasks rolled up to the parent task for a comprehensive overview?
