Let subtasks inherit standard/custom fields of parent tasks

Hi everyone - thank you for the engagement and excitement on this feature request! We are always looking for ways to improve, and this is certainly a top of mind request. I don't have anything concrete to share at this time, as our team has been focused on delivering the Custom Field Manager, improvements to Formulas, Relationships, and Subfolders, but I will certainly keep this post updated with anything new. In the meantime, please continue to vote and provide examples of how you would use this feature, as it's always incredibly helpful to us!

We really need this option. A custom field should proliferate anywhere in the space. If you don't want it to, you should create a second custom field, IMO

Our logistics department is constantly creating tasks with a number of subtasks. Each subtask needs to have the same deadline as parent task. Setting them by hand is tedious and time consuming process. We would benefit greatly from a way for subtasks to inherit parent task's due date. Looking forward to this feature.

Third in the "trending" sort of feature requests, and only one in the top 10 that has no status assigned....

Is this on the roadmap? Or at least on the roadmap to get on the roadmap?
Custom fields are great but when you can't bring them down to the subtask level it doesn't just impact the view from a list perspective, but also increases the amount of data cleanup to ensure when filtering and looking at dashboard cards you are not missing anything on counts. There are a ton of fields we need to roll down from a parent (epic) in our case and not being able to automate that is frustrating.
In Automations you can do this with text fields, where it gives the option to select any text value that is brought in from the parent, custom fields should have the same ability and it's obvious this is one of the more popular requests.
Is this being looked at for consideration currently?

We use parent tasks for services we provide our clients. So every time we move a subtask under it, it would save so much time to have it inherit a number of custom fields. We can set this up as an automation, but we would have to do it for every single service across all clients.

This is remarkably crucial for our business and reporting needs and absolutely stunning that it isn't OOTB functionality. This needs to be added to the roadmap!!

This would be SO helpful for my team, especially for new team members learning the ins and outs of ClickUp! It can be confusing for them to understand where to look to find certain information in the parent custom fields.

This would be incredibly helpful across my entire organization!
