I'd love to see the webapp respond and be faster.
I just had our 2.0 demo lag severely a couple of times during CST business hours. Planning on checking again tonight. The system lag is not acceptable since all we have is data imported from ASANA and 3 test users. Planning on all 90 being active for go live.
2.0 beta is a lot better, especially when loading a list view, but I wouldn't call it 'fast' - there are still a lot of things that take a second or two, which is frustrating...
Loving the features by my biggest blocker is the performance. It currently feels very sluggish to open and create tasks and generally move around the webapp. This can be frustrating when trying to quickly update things as part of a daily routine.
Beta 2.0 feels really smooth.
V2 has a nice speed.
Make the web app as fast as the native apps. It just seems so much slower than Trello.
Agree 100%. Coming from Trello this webapp is very sluggish. Particularly when you have many tasks in board view.
Particularly in List view when scrolling
@Alan Ballany & @Zeb - have to second that. Would love full-length lists to appear in as close to real time as possible when scrolling vertically.
@Trip F: @Alan Ballany This is something we heavily optimized in 2.0
Anyone knows when should we expect this to be addressed? Really makes me want to migrate to something else.
@Gaina Roman: With the release of 2.0
@Denis: when should we expect that? :)
@Gaina Roman: (cc: @Zeb) Per https://docs.clickup.com/features/roadmap 2.0 is listed for May. Over the last 6 months, however, the roadmap has tended to be a few weeks optimistic, so worst case, I'd estimate June. Regarding speed itself, a new "Optimization & Speed" item has appeared for June, which would imply 2.0 may not arrive in-parallel with faster behavior. Disappointing, but it is what it is. Factoring in a margin of delay, I'd project July-August at the latest for speed. Hopefully, ClickUp can actually hit their deadlines for these two. We shall see! :)
@Trip F: There will still be the majority of optimizations and a refactored (much faster) web app shipped with 2.0. But we also have set aside a month for addressing any new scaling items that come up as well as further optimizing where we can, particularly isolated speed issues that occur in areas where we don't have servers located.
@Gaina Roman: I am Vietnam and the speed of the web app here is quite match with the desktop app. Not sure if Clickup team has already applied some fixes. Hope it could be much better with Clickup 2.0.
We have used trello for 2 years, and we found clickup. We love the concept. We are about to move on it on may first, the migration has begun (about 400 tables in 8 teams) but sadly working on it seems impossible. The application has difficulties to load informations and many times we have a cut off (creating projet from big templates for instance). We want to stay on clickup because it has the most elaborated element to manage a project. Please can we know when will it be updated to 2.0 ?
@Denis: we are good with the features, we perhaps need a core update to separate interface using and database connexion. If you add more features with the same system it will be heavier.
@Denis: but well, clickup is a very good application, we are waiting for the 2.0
