"Fake" or virtual users
Sofia Borregaard
I would like to be allowed to assign a task to someone whom is not on click up, but is taking care of the task. It could be a company or a person where i would be able to create them under "users", give them a name and a picture, but not connect the user to anybody in clickup or anywhere ells. Users i create so that i can get an overview and remember who accepted to do a task.

Please, can someone in the team give a feedback? Your silence means that you don’t care about your paying customers.

Another vote for this feature... at least make this available on paid plans only. I'll gladly upgrade to paid account.

Ability to Assign a task to someone who is not using clickup and not invite them as a guest

In click up I use the task manager to currently assign tasks to know who is currently responsible for each task at each stage. However, I have tasks that are the clients responsibility and dependent on them. I do not want to make the client use clickup, and I just track their tasks to know when I need to follow up on them. I would like the ability to be able to create a "fake" assignee so I know who it is assigned to without having to invite the client to use it.

Is there any updates on this topic. I would like to use it for personal use where I can manage a project without the need to invite other people.

JUST SHARING THE WORK AROUND WHICH I AM USING. CREATE A TEAM WITHOUT MEMBER AND THEN YOU CAN USE AS VIRTUAL, BUT TAKE IN CONSIDERATION THAT FILTERS DOESN'T WORK WITH TEAMS.

When planning out a project, i have roles that are not yet filled, they will be hired in the future. It would be useful to have a "shell" of a user that i can assign certain tasks to so when the time comes to hire them, all i have to do is assign a new member to that role and they automatically acquire the tasks and all data associated with them

Is this planned? For when? @Brendan Wolfe
