Personal Setting to Disable Sidebar Expand on Hover
not on the roadmap

For some workflows, the sidebar expanding on hovering can be frustrating. For example, if you're going between two windows and ClickUp is on the right side, when you mouse between the windows, it expands the sidebar. This can be a nuisance as you then have to mouse away or click to collapse it. For this reason, I always have to keep ClickUp on my left monitor or keep it to the left of the other app I'm using.
It would be nice to make this a setting that can be changed user-to-user, so we could disable the hover feature and make it so it just a click to expand.

Disable sidebar "hover to show" action
Cassandra Turgman
Sidebar accidentally opens when I don't want it to like when I drag and drop tasks around within the list I'm working on. I want a "pin sidebar closed" option and then manually click to open instead of auto open on hover. If this is not possible, at least push the active clickup space to the right when the sidebar is activated just as it does when you click the arrows to expand it. It blocks the screen view when it's hovered over. I prefer the old sidebar view.
