Copying Custom Field Value While Running "Task Creation" Automation.

I am using a "Create Task" when "Status Change" automation.
This gives an option to select which Custom Filed are to be copied while creating a new task.
Oddly enough, this works only for Task Name, and Task Description and Text Format Customer Fields.
For the above, it copies the task specific values, but for any other types of custom field formats like date, phone number, it only gives an option to insert a Static Field.

also: perhaps repeating the knowledge already collected here: the purpose of automation is to reduce the manual actions - so if I want to "pass" the value of phone, email, (any) numeric value, or currency (i.e. "Budget" or "Deal Value") currently I'll have to (a) use text field (i.e. Description) and then manually enter the values as needed (assuming the permissions prevent direct access) or (b) manually enter it when needed... with that, I'll leave my frustration aside and kindly ask (along with the other - 193+ and counting - users) if you please, please get this damn thing fixed (please) - thank you, AZ

Would love for this to happen. really just need phone numbers to copy from the parent task to the subtask. Would be happy to do this via an automation, but would make our workflow so much easier

Automation is missing the ability to copy over custom fields from one task to the other.

Yes I would love to "send" (copy or create a done task "client request" to my invoicing clickup space but I can't copy the tracked time field in the automation. My clients are guests so I can't do invoicing in the same space but I still want their past requests to remain available for them to search.

Does anyone have any workarounds?
Im about to TRY calling a webhook to hit an endpoint on my API server to then just hit the clickup API to do what I need... Not sure this is even possible either...
