Ability to group custom fields into sections and sort in the desired order

Is it possible to divide the fields into sections, for example profile, business, resources, etc. (custom) and sort them in the desired order - we use them as a questionnaire and it would be great to have such an option

I am creating an onboarding process within click up, starting with an onboarding form that becomes a client profile. Because we want the process to flow from beginning to end, we are using all the same custom fields, with automations that turn the form into a list item, then move it from one list to another as the client progresses through the onboarding process.
There are a lot of custom fields, in the list item, and we want to keep all that information in the list item, creating a client profile. However, this is an extensive list!
I want to be able to group these custom fields, as well as collapse them, so that different teams can easily navigate to the desired group of fields, without having to wade through 50 other fields or create a separate view.
This would be a really great feature - please do develop this ASAP!

This would be amazing as we utilize one task and have multiple stages for each task associated with its status. Being able to organize the custom fields required based on status/stage that the task is in would make a huge difference.

yes even having a manual sort option instead of defaulting to alphabetical!

My team asked me for this feature today as we are starting our implementation. I would love to see this in a future release.

This would be so useful. Maybe a new type of custom field like a "Section separator" which is basically a text that can't be edited and that englobes groups of fields, also allowing to collapse those groups of fields as you wish.

This feature would be interesting Caroline Ginty, it would help to organize the fields even to fill in the information correctly. Today, for example, we have many fields, but each sector is responsible for filling in its fields, sometimes people end up filling it out wrong and they say that with the amount of field it ends up getting in the way of filling it out.
