Channels should not disappear when read

I'd like to be able to jump to channels directly, especially imported Slack channels. However, they disappear when read. This requires that I search for the channel every time I want to use it.
The other downside to this decision is that it appears that I cannot add read and up-to-date channels to chat sections I have created.

We need a way to make certain channels stay visible in the sidebar even if there hasn't been any activity for a while. I thought the "Pin Channel" feature would do that, but it doesn't really do anything different than what the "Create Section" feature does.

This was caused by a bug that would remove Channels from your sidebar (when not viewing them) if they hadn't had new comments inside them within the last 90 days.
