PLEASE slow down a little bit, and take it more serious
First of all: I love ClickUp. This is the best task management / productivity app I’ve ever used. And I’ve used a lot. I’ve moved our whole company to ClickUp, which means about 50 people and 60-70 software development projects. We heavily rely on you. I’ve chosen you over TargetProcess, Jira, OpenProject, Monday, Trello and so on… Which is a big win for you. But! Please take one or two month without any new features, and make the app more robust, reliable, and faster. It feels like, every 1 change you make bring 2 more bugs in the app. In the last few days it was very very frustrating. ClickUp was so slow, the text you were writing in the description is literally just disappeared… And we constantly have bugs, for example: Sometimes we cannot create tasks normally ( https://clickup.canny.io/bugs/p/cannot-create-task-error-popup-parent-not-found-code-content003 , https://clickup.canny.io/bugs/p/newly-created-task-does-not-show-in-list , https://clickup.canny.io/bugs/p/tasks-disappear-when-newly-added , https://clickup.canny.io/bugs/p/not-updating-list ). This is just essential stuff. I’v recorded a video months ago. Other people also reporting this bug. Time reporting STILL shows the WRONG numbers ( https://clickup.canny.io/bugs/p/time-reporting-bug ). Which should be an important feature. You screwed up time tracking after adding new features ( https://clickup.canny.io/feature-requests/p/bring-back-the-calendar-to-time-tracker ). One of the most important feature! You closed the bug, but automations are still unreliable ( https://clickup.canny.io/bugs/p/automations-are-often-unreliable ). Which a lot of people rely on. From one day to another custom field automations are just broken ( https://clickup.canny.io/bugs/p/cannot-create-automations-for-custom-fields ). Timesheet has arrived which was great, but it still shows the wrong hours per day ( https://clickup.canny.io/bugs/p/time-sheet-wrong-hours-per-day ) It has rounding issue ( https://clickup.canny.io/bugs/p/time-sheet-rounding-error ) We cannot export them ( https://clickup.canny.io/bugs/p/time-sheet-export-bug ) So PLEASE!!! Stop making new features every day. Fix these bugs, and make the app more reliable! We won’t go anywhere if you don’t make 129 new features for the next 2 months. But we will, if the app constantly delivers new bugs, and strange behavior. And last, but not least: I love ClickUp. This is why I’m writing this. Thank you!
Refresh Rate Is Super Slow
I have used ClickUp MacOS App and on Chrome Tab the refresh rate of the software is extremely slow. When licking between tasks / projects or even simply adding a comments, the app starts to refresh and take 2-3 secs to reload the desired section. It's kinda infuriating. Ill bring my team back to this app once this issue is resolved. For now i have moved on.
The Web app is very very very slow!
The web app is very slow since a week or 2. It takes about 5 minutes to load a page, if you're lucky. I have commented on tickets from other users, but the status keeps being changed to 'Complete'. This problem is not fixed though. We've tried all our internet connections and that doesn't seem to be the problem. Please fix this issue. We started using ClickUp with our company since a month ago and we were very happy with it. We are thinking about going back to Atlassian/Jira though, because we can't seem to use ClickUp properly cause of its loading problems. Other problems: Docs and meetings keep being deleted while typing, assignees are removed from tasks right after we assigned them, tasks are deleted when added etc.
Guest user with full access cannot add new dropdown option
A guest user invited on the folder with full access cannot edit a custom field on that folder. The custom field is a dropdown and when the guest user tries to add a new option the following error is received: Server error You do not have permission to do this action code: ACCESS_024
Updated task requires page refresh to see most recent update
Sometimes when you add details to a task, close it, and then reopen it, the new update is not there. The page needs to be refreshed in order to see the details. I know there is another report out there of this same issues, but I couldn't find it to upvote / link to.
No Notification of Task Creation in Chrome Extension
Previously when I'd create a bookmark or task with the ClickUp Chrome extension I'd get a popup/notification in my browser saying a task has been created, with a link, so i could quickly hop over to that new task and add tags, etc. It abruptly stopped showing me these little popup notifications, so now I must go into clickup and search for said task each time.
Rescheduling tasks and subtasks in calendar does not reflect in Clickup
Anytime I assign start dates and due dates in Clickup, an event is created in my calendar. Which is awesome. But when I reschedule the eent in calendar by dragging. The new dates and time are not reflected in the Clickup. This takes a lot of time. Kindly check
Drag & Drop Subtasks hard to control
Thank you for the many bug fixes with release 2.55. However, with this update it is suddenly very difficult to control drag and drop within unsorted lists in Subtask compact mode. Ironically, now either a task _too easily_ becomes a Subtask – requiring several clicks to undo because there is no toast notification – or else a task does not end up in the desired position where dragged. It jumps to somewhere else. It often takes many attempts before I can successfully drag a task into the desired location.
Drag And Drop Tasks Between Lists
Need to be able to drag and drop between Lists like Trello does. Having to move things is slow.
Someone Call the Exterminator
CLICKUP is infested with Bugs! I wasn't sold on the response to the thread listed below. So I'm posting another to emphasize the point... In short while I never imagined I'd be complaining about too many new features rolling out on a SaaS platform. I am, and have been for some time after my team would report bug after bug only to find new features rolling out each Friday & requested bug fixes haven't been resolved. In fact new ones would arise. Beyond the bugs, it takes time for organizations to incorporate new features into their processes & workflows. Constantly adding new components many of which seem to be horizontal features, instead of adding depth to existing apps/components makes it stressful to work in the app now. Always feeling like we're falling further and further behind. Maybe there's a pilot/beta group where the people that want to, can get & test these new features months before they roll out to everyone. If your development team needs to work on something, maybe it's integrations that work with existing features. That'd be ideal.
