Browser extension - Add new fields, like time estimate and priority
Joren Rapini
I didn't see a suitable category for this. I use the browser extension constantly in gmail, and I'm always having to open the task after creating it to set a priority (if it's different from our default) and a time estimate. It would save tons of time if those fields were available when just creating tasks from the browser extension.

have you tried our new Brain MAX / BrainGPT extension that uses brain to do so? then you could tell the AI what fields to set up, will it be helpful?
We are not really developing an old extension as it is too legacy at this point, so need to figure out how to make a new one a workable replacement for it

Alex Lashkov just tried it out, thanks for the idea. It sort of makes too many small mistakes still, and couldn't include a screengrab and link of the email in the task like your other dedicated extension does, which is way too useful for us to miss out on.

Joren Rapini: yeah, that makes sense. Let's see what we will be able to do here with all the other AI projects going on haha

Alex Lashkov this requires that you remember all the fields per location that you want set. I want to just view the fields so that I can decide what applies vs what doesn't. There also isn't a way (at least not that I can figure out) to attach a screenshot to either a new task or an existing task, something that I use daily. Creating a simple bookmark is also more time-consuming with the new extension. If I just need to capture something with the old extension, I click to activate the extension, 90% of the time it's already on the bookmark option with the correct list, and then click create bookmark. It's SO much simpler and faster than the new extension.
