Allow me to choose what shows in Important on Inbox

Now that the Inbox is in BETA and I used it a little bit, I have one piece of feedback/question. Will there be an option to specify what we want to go to the "other" inbox, as opposed to the "important" inbox. I didn't see anything for it in settings, and my workflow involves keeping an eye on some things that it was automatically marking "other". Some things I want to send to other, of course, but it would be nice to be able to customize those settings.

Please add the ability to either "pin/save" filters on inbox or add 'mentioning me' on this bar. (see screenshot) I primarily use my inbox for comments I am mentioned in but with 3.0 I have to do the additional step of applying filter to isolate those amidst all the others. It would be really nice to be able to set as default what "view" you want to start on when you click your inbox and then I could pin/set as default my inbox to open on the comments I'm mentioned in.

Its nice to see this planned. I am also a fan of just one inbox, although tailoring is something I could work with. I definitely consider many of my notifications that are now going in to other as important.

The option to turn off the "Other" inbox would be great as well. I prefer to have my notifications all in one list. It's super weird having to go to two different places to see notifications.

Please make this high on the priority list! I miss due date and over due notifications because they are categorized as "other" and not important

Hey Jessica Scott! Thanks for making a Canny post!
We do have plans to make the Important tab customizable, and we're hoping to unlock that functionality later this year!
