Impersonate Act/As View As Feature

As an Administrator we would like to have the ability to act as another person.
For Example: Our executive team has requested the ability to add time for a person while they are traveling or in an instance where someone forget to add their time.
This would also be nice when setting up permissions so you can see what they can see. Right now we are setting up fake account with personal email addresses to see how it works.

Would be nice to be able to impersonate users as a super admin via the API to be able to send comments as another User.

Agree, this is so needed. It is hard for me as an admin to fix something when issues arise as I have no idea what the user is seeing, and if their permissions or whatever really are glitching or if they have access but it is user error and more training is needed.
Additionally it is helpful to be able see what the user sees with their permissions so I can build a how to with screenshots instead of having to schedule time to zoom and have them drive and walk them through etc. What I see as an admin, is very different, even telling someone where to access their notifications or the trash is different for me than it is for them.

Totally agreed with this one. Highly needed to test permissions and how things are shown to different user profiles.

We need a "View As" feature.

There are so many opportunities to screw up your user permissions, so as an admin, a "view as [user]" would be super helpful. That way you can basically see what exactly your members see, so you're able to completely refine their experience without accidentally showing them too much.

I constantly find myself guessing what others are seeing in ClickUp, and I have to ask teammates to share their screens just to get a sense of their experience. It’s surprisingly inefficient and really frustrating.
This back-and-forth adds a lot of time and friction, especially when trying to configure or troubleshoot across multiple users. In real-world deployments, visibility into the user experience is crucial. Without tools to preview or manage from another user’s perspective, the whole process becomes more guesswork than it should be. So Please Clickup we need your help here!

This is a major design defect of Clickup. It really makes me think that Clickup product managers have never personally managed full lifecycle multi-user deployments in a real organization. I am truly struggling here, guessing what others would see while configuring/deploying. I could just get an extra user account but not really feasible (due to security policies - again more reality here). Also, not just impersonate, other platforms allow users to login as other users, enabling admins to configure and personalize accounts for others. Not having these functions is adding so much time and complexity to deploying and managing. PLEASE clickup, really. Please reality check here and show up you know what deployment is REALLY like?

This would be very helpful for testing! I would love to see this happen.

Shoutout to that, an absolute necessity for any system admin ...

Very beneficial for me as an Admin especially after working as a Salesforce Administrator/Consultant. I have benefitted a lot from "Log In As Other User" feature on Salesforce platform when it comes to troubleshooting and not taking up the user's time away from their duties which would hinder the company's ROI.
