Show any custom view as a homescreen widget (instead of just 'Due Today')

Widgets with more size options and more view options, like a calendar view and, specially, a to-do list with not only items that need to be done today, but also ones to be done in the future.

Hi everyone! I noticed that this request is a bit unclear. Please vote on the correct ones listed below that would help improve your mobile experience!
Some of you want to be able to edit Dashboards on the go in the mobile app. If that is you, please add yourself as a voter here - https://clickup.canny.io/new-mobile-app/p/edit-dashboards-in-the-mobile-app
Some of you want to see the same organization of widgets in Dashboards on mobile (see in a grid instead of a list). See the attached photo to understand what I mean by that. If that is you, then please add a vote here - https://clickup.canny.io/new-mobile-app/p/dashboard-order-does-not-match-between-web-and-mobile-app-legacy-app
As many of these comments seem to indicate wanting more homescreen widget customization, I am going to rename this request to reflect that.
Thanks for helping us stay organized, and thanks for sharing your suggestions! 💙

Joey Is this ticket about the Clickup home view or the Android/iOS homescreen?
Many requests here are to get more Android/iOS widgets so we don't even have to open the Clickup app.
As I understand it you merged several tickets and limited the scope to the Clickup home.

Alexander Selle: Hi! This is about the iOS and Android homescreen widgets. The ask (I believe) is to be able to have any view or any list of tasks show on your phone homescreen without opening the ClickUp app!

I just want a custom task list as a homescreen widget, as in a Task List card from Dashboards so I can use custom filters etc.
Sometimes I have low-priority stuff due today that could be ignored. Sometimes I have medium to high priority items without a due date.
I don't usually need to see sub-tasks that are due today, the clutter makes it more difficult to locate main tasks.

I agree with more options here as the current homescreen widget is impossibly limiting. Upon the creation of a widget (at least on Android), a great start would be the selection of a workspace, space, and list to use as a widget. All sorting, grouping, and other filtering options of the selected list would just automatically come through to the homescreen widget created.
A great second step would be allowing dashboards to be used directly as widgets as well.
A third step would be customization. For both widget options (list or dashboard), it would be great to be able to immediately check a task as done from the homescreen without entering the app. The +Task +Reminder buttons take up far too much screen real estate and could be optional buttons (with icons instead of text) tucked into the title bar (replacing the ClickUp logo, for example, in the upper right). Finally, selecting a widget opacity, color scheme, and an overall scaling (compact, normal, comfortable) would be icing on the cake. For all of these widget customization options, see the Todoist homescreen widget, which just gets it right.

Maybe the reason for such interest in homescreen widget is that it has a simple UI, that list views lack: https://clickup.canny.io/new-mobile-app/p/simple-version-of-list-view.

Hi there, the current widget for Android is not working well. I would request to fix the widget where I'm able to check of the task as I complete them. Also the order of tasks are very random on the list and not arranged according to the time of the day. The reminders of those tasks are not working offline. It would be great to access those tasks offline so I can focus on my work

This this this. I like that they added the ability to have the app open on additional options such as Inbox or a List but I want TO CUSTOMIZE MY OWN VIEW for the Home Screen (specifically show all tasks assigned to me in order of priority). The Home Screen is STILL 100% useless to me.

Being able to customise the To Do widget would be super helpful. Particularly adding the priority tag, but general customisation would also be helpful

Would be great to have a larger options of IOS widgets. (To do, list view, folder, even dashboards)
