Update for everyone here: Just got first version today to start testing! It will probably be at least another 2 weeks before we release this. Filtering as a feature is super complex so there will be a LOT of testing we need to do to make sure it is bullet proof.
Thank you for bearing with us!! We will get it out to you ASAP 🙂

Filtering is now fully supported in the mobile app with the latest release v3.11.0!

Nick: I hoped this would include a toggle for Me Mode. There’s no way to tell when your view is being filtered by Me Mode (think views that are set to default to Me Mode). Any plans for that?
Nick
Jake Spirek: Yup! Definitely planning to get that added soon - even though me mode is a filter we view it as a separate feature from the filter button which is why it wasn't included (also wanted to get this out ASAP) but rest assured it is coming!
Slowly but surely we are working towards achieving feature parity with web - thank you for bearing with us!
Jake Spirek
Nick: thanks Nick! Love the progress!

Nick: this is far from complete, it's just basic filtering, no combination of AND / OR. You need multiple lists and many filters are just not possible. What's so hard to understand about this basic requirement?
Nick Potok
Pascal Zweipfenning: Hello there! We are still working on boolean filtering. Once we've completed it on our web platform we'll have our mobile team do their best to get it released on there as quickly as possible! https://clickup.canny.io/feature-requests/p/savable-complex-boolean-filters-for-any-object-type-and-and-or

I've just found ClickUp and it made me really excited about using it. I've been looking for a way to track my home improvement projects and manage to-do list with emphasis on tracking statuses and dependencies. Due dates are just a secondary attribute which are helpful but not critical for my application.
When opening an app I am presented with a home screen showing my to-do lists grouped by due date in the To Do tab. Given that none of my items have due dates every single task is cramped into "No Due Date" category which makes it hard to use. See attached screenshot.
What I really would like to see when I open the app first is the lists of tasks that are currently active irrespective of their due date and that have all dependencies resolved and grouped by either a list name or a status.
As a global solution it would be nice to have a feature to display tasks based on some filter. Possibly changing To Do, Comments and Done tabs to be configurable and displayed based on some filter. This would satisfy a wider group of users with various requirements and not just my specific use case.
Hopefully this change will allow me to fully utilize the app the way I've described it above.

Aleksey Shurtygin: Good idea! Home could definitely use some improvement on both web and mobile to be more flexible like you mention. Not quite related to filtering we are talking about here but adding this to our backlog!

The app is unusable for me until this is added--in fact I am considering cancelling my subscription. I need to be able to filter by tags. Please fix this ASAP or I will have to go back to Todoist.

Non-legacy mobile: Filters needed for the list and calendar views

There appears to be no way to filter the list and calendar views in the new mobile app. You COULD filter the lists and calendar views in the Legacy 2.0 Mobile App, though.
Until there are filters, the new mobile app is pretty much unusable, as I need to see ONLY the high-priority tasks when I begin my day.
Otherwise, the new app does look much cleaner though!
Thanks!

When we use desktop/web version and filter tasks then go to mobile there's no way to unfilter (without a workaround of performing a searcha dn then deleting the search criteria) the tasks leading to all sorts of confusion and clumsiness in the field with the appearance of having "lost" or not able to get to important information. It is critically important to not have anything in the mobile version that is hampered by any filter criteria set up in desktop/web version.

@Nick: Task Activity filter (and default filter value=comments) would be very great!
