We can currently define a default task type for a list, I'd like to be able to define the default subtask type on that list as well. That is, in the same list, one type of task and another type of standard subtask.

This seems to apply to task-type custom fields. Even when a custom field is pinned, it's hidden behind a click in some modals. Hiding a pinned field adds clicks and stresses to workflow. We obviously rely on custom fields if we pin them, please don't hide them for design considerations.

ClickUp is missing an essential, everyday feature: In the current 4.0 version, the Homepage has 'My Tasks', yet we're unable to create a simple daily 'To Do' list - without it needing to be a formal or structured 'Task' per se. This could be for both personal and professional use, with the ability to customise and prioritise how we see fit. Am I missing something obvious?

Would love to see integration if you take notes in Apple Notes that you can share directly to the task (in my case clients) within ClickUp. This seems like an easy integration and would be much better than copy / paste.

I am creating a lot of subtasks and by default it is not getting bu default the status of parent task. It is so annoying when yuo create 10 subtasks then you have to go manually change status for every subtask to match parent task. Can you please set when subtask is created it should inherit parent task status by default

PLEASE add the functionality to set dates using "tomorrow", "next week", "1st of every month", "Every January 3rd", etc. like todoist. This would save so much headache!!!!

The “Subtasks in Multiple Lists” feature is essential for our workflow, yet it’s only available on the Business Pro plan, which is too expensive for small teams like ours. We believe this is a basic productivity feature that many small but active workspaces need. Forcing an upgrade to a higher-tier plan may push smaller teams — even satisfied ones like us — to consider alternative tools that offer similar capabilities at a lower cost.
