Feature Requests

So that I can use Gantt for planning what stuff to do for what period without changing the start and end dates.

Many clients like the changing color feature of the CU folders. I am wondering if there can be an API that can be used to change the color. I think it will be cool to partner with the color labels. It is a usable feature.

When I attempt to add new lines to the end of the description. 90% of the time I click "Show Less" instead of getting on the last line. There should be space reserved below the last line of the description so there is room to click to move the cursor here and hit enter and get a new line. This is especially bad if the final content in the description is a code block or quote.

While in the task view, looking at the activity, it always shows the newest activities at the bottom, meaning I always have to scroll to see most recent comments vs having the options to see them at the top.

It would be very helpful to be able to move a file to another task without having to download the file and re-upload it to another task.

The whole "limited member" role is super confusing. Please stop automatically making a limited member a "limited member with permissions" that I will be billed full price for while simultaneously advertising that "View-only limited members are always FREE and don't count towards any seat limits". The process to convert them to "limited members with a view-only access" is also convoluted and not user friendly. After a billing complication, this experience has dramatically decreased my desire to use ClickUp as this feels like a very slimy tactic to grab money out of my pocket when I'm not looking. :(

In a crm set up I have contacts in one list, organisations in another list. All contacts have a relationship to an organisation. in the contact list I would like to be able to filter or sort the tasks/contacts based on information in the organisations list. E.g. status in the of the tasks in the organisation list.

I'd want Automation filters that allow looking up the Status (or other fields) of Linked Tasks (e.g. Blocking, or Waiting On). As an example use case, I'd want to be able to create an Automation that runs whenever the Start date of a Task arrives, and if any of the Waiting On tasks are not yet Done or Closed, it sends a notification to alert someone that the dependencies haven't completed yet.

A quick way to add and remove tasks from the Priorities list without having to go through the GUI.
