It’s quite frustrating having to go through the automation creation process for every list/folder/space that needs it. Please add a global automations option which has a dropdown showing all spaces, folders, and lists with checkboxes next to them. Users can then scrub the list and simply select all the areas that automation should be applied.

Currently it looks like we can only apply a task template, we'd like to have a folder template created when a task status changes July 7, 2023 EDIT: Original title was just looking to have folder templates added. List and Space were added as well as they are related asks.

Introduce formula support, via regex and not AI prompt , in standard (non‑AI) automations to enable dynamic transformations and validations on task fields—especially the Task Title—without invoking AI. This would unlock powerful, low‑latency logic (e.g., substring extraction, regex checks, replacements, counts) directly inside automation actions and conditions. I'd like to be able to set the Sharing and Permissions on a task via automation. Currently this option does not exist. A simple use case would be: Upon creation of a task, set Sharing and Permission to the task creator and the ClickUp Team responsible for the list/the list owner. In general it seems like the Sharing and Permission on Tasks (aka private tasks) is an underserved feature. I'm guessing it's maybe not the most popular feature per usage, but then personally, I wasn't aware of its existence, and an automation tie-in feels like it could make this more usable.

It would be wonderful if there were automation options to trigger when the Current Date is within a date range before or after a custom field. There is the option, currently, to set triggers to run "at least" before and after a specific custom field, but it would be great if there was an option if it performed the inverse of what these options currently allow. I have attached some screenshots of where the current option will trigger for the "at least before" and "at least after". Perhaps our use case will help explain further. We track passport expiration data for our employees because they do a lot of traveling and we don't want any last minute issues with their passports. We want to set up a reminder system so that when the passport hits the '1-year from expiration' point it will let the person know. With the current options available for the Current Date, this is not possible. Hopefully all of this makes sense.

I would like to suggest introducing a feature that allows exporting details (e.g., space, folder, list, etc.) related to the use of automations and AI. This would make it easier to locate the automations being used and quickly understand which ones have the greatest impact on costs. Logical operators in Actions are necessary such as AND, OR, XOR, etc... for example, Custom Field Value Or another Custom Field Value

At the moment to add tasks to personal priorities it needs to be done one by one. It would be great to be able to do the following: Bulk add tasks to personal priorities (you can currently bulk update the task priority but not add it to your personal priorities) Use automation to be able to add to personal priorities Use super agents to have agents add tasks to personal priorities

Add ability to change stuff based on whether it is on the personal priorities list, and put stuff onto personal priorities list based on certain stuff
