Hey guys is there any way to take an existing mind map from the old MindMaps and insert it into the new whiteboard?
Bobby Brodney
I think it depends on how you created the old Mindmap.

Hey everyone!
I'm incredibly excited to say that we've added Mind Maps into Whiteboards! Now, as I mentioned in my previous comment, there are two parts of Mind Maps that we need to tackle:
- Hierarchy - AKA display my Spaces, Folders, Lists and Tasks
- Mind Maps - Allow me to free-flow create nodes with children to my heart's content
So this first big release will be satisfying #2! Next up will be to add #1 to Whiteboards if you, our great community, want it!
Also, Whiteboards just came out of Beta and we're introducing a ton of newly added functionality, UX improvements, UI refinements, bugs fixes, and more!
Go check it out today! 🚀

Right now we're working on #2 and it's going to be great! Stay tuned as we're currently in the testing stage!
Thank you!

A couple things I appreciate about Mind Maps I would like to see as an option if this does happen:-
- Ability to expand and collapse segments. In Mind Maps, you can click the -/+ buttons to collapse and expand everything below that. That is really useful.
- Smaller cards. Right now, in Whiteboards, creating cards with text in makes really big cards. You can drag and make them smaller, but only up to a point. So items are very large. When you create a new item in Mind Maps, they adjust to the text size. This is a useful thing to keep things tidy.

It would be great if you could add notes to the Mind Maps as you can do with any other Mind Map tools such as MindManager or XMind. This may be helpful for attaching more detailed descriptions to the different nodes.

Whiteboards are just a more customized way to present mindmaps, plus ability to draw new ideas, but still around the tasks, or create tasks out of new ideas, so they should be one!
Plus if you want to rearange your tasks from mindmaps its a pain to insert each task separately, why not import all at once? or just have one thing for both.
