I would like my view-only guests to be view the time tracked per user (not sure why it is blocked from them if they are just viewing it)
Ben Porter
Just like Comment guests can change the status of their assigned tasks, they should be able to track time to them.

This is a really important feature to be able to minimise the risk of people who are working on a task and tracking time against it, being able to edit the actual task dates, which is just managed by the project manager. There is too much room for error here at the moment, so we need a feature to limit this.

we absolutely need this.

Beyond nice, it's mandatory. Time tracking is just another type of comment. I don't want my project resources to be able to change due dates, but I have to give them that ability with Edit if I want them to be able to add time tracking.

I agree with Chris completely! This week, a guest user accidentally deleted an assignee on a task. I had to give her Edit level permission because she has to track time on that task. There absolutely has to be some in-between here.

Great tool! We would like to add our workshop employees to Clickup but they shouldn't be able to change a task, only time writing and comment for these guest users.

Not only for time tracking.
I believe it would be useful to have a permissions setup / groups setup.
Using checkboxs to allow this grup for comment, edit, move tasks from others, make time estimations, change time estimations, report time, etc, etc, etc.
Users could make their own grous instead of using just the predefined by ClickUp.
This would be really usefull for 100+ employees management.
