Since the recent ClickUp update (version 3.57), I’ve encountered a persistent issue when trying to assign users to tasks.
Details:
When creating a task (in both Calendar and List views), I type the user’s name or email.
ClickUp recognizes the user correctly and confirms they have access.
However, clicking on the user does not assign them — the task remains unassigned.
This issue also occurs in the full task view.
The user I’m trying to assign is a Workspace member, not a guest.
There are no duplicate or custom “Assignee” fields in the task.
It seems to be a UI bug that prevents assignment even though the user is properly identified.
Could you please advise if this is a known issue or if there’s a workaround?
