Without this working with goals is to complex! We need this!

Definitely would love this. I've started to use goals recently and think they can be extremely valuable in keeping tasks and targets focused. However my main challenge is once I create a goal and add initial targets and tasks to that target just to set it up, I find that I don't add more tasks to them as I cant from a list, which is where I work out of.

If Goals had a column or custom field, it would be much easier to associate a task to a specific target or goal, making them more useful. For goals to work or be used, it has to be easy to associate a task to them, or create goals/targets from a task.

Absolutely, I share your frustration with ClickUp's separation of Goals and Targets from Tasks. It's high time they integrated a feature allowing Tasks to be easily assigned to Goals, automatically converting them into Targets. This integration would create a seamless link between Goals and Tasks. As it stands, the current system feels like an underdeveloped add-on, leaving much to be desired in terms of cohesiveness and functionality.

I hoped it will be available in 3.0, but still no luck :(

How is this still not done? It's way to cumbersome to have to make a task, go to goals, pick the right goal, add the newly created task to the goal. It should be simple during task creation that you can tie it to a goal. I think my company will move to Jira because this feature is so important in the software development process.

This is very important feature, if one want to properly implement the performance review process also. Users should be able to swiftly add a task to the targets to be considered.

I can see that this is now possible. You can link tasks to a target in a goal.

This is a MUST have. Especially if goals are created halfway through a project. THere is no way that I can find to add already completed tasks to a goal.
