Ability to filter activity by activity type

Currently all updates are kept in Activity feed. It makes following comments especially cumbersome.

I would be able to have the following filters:

All activity - default
only comments
other changes to the task - code, status, fields updates

Also the ability to filter automation comments from human comments would be helpful. I know there is currently a filter, but it doesn't save your prefrences.

This would be a great solution. Automations inside of activity can feel a bit spammy within daily tasks.

Agreed! I only want to view Comments, and wish that Comments were separate from other Activity. Short of that, I'd love to be able to select my preference for what is tracked/displayed in the Activity pane, or have the ability to

save

a filter so that I don't have to filter out everything except the Comments from the Activity every time I open a task, or at the very least be able to delete items in the Activity pane.
