A way to move/rearrange/resize columns

I understand that moving columns around is coming in version 2.0, but I would also like to be able to resize columns. Screen space is always at a premium, particularly for us with older eyes. Quite a few other products have been able to do this for years.
It just makes the product more usable as you have on the screen exactly the data you want without wasted space that could be used to enhance your view in other columns.
For example, you create several custom fields with 2-4 character codes. A lot of screen space would be wasted on empty space not needed to display the contents of these custom fields.

Zeb: That is good news as I had contacted Clickup support and they told me to make a suggestion as it was apparently not in the v2 product. I am a bit handicapped as I am not on v2 yet.

I agree, the only way I do it is to ignore the pre-built in ones and then use custom fields to add those back in, at least you get to rearrange the order then.

When viewing large lists with many columns it's difficult to parse important pieces if two related fields are several columns apart. It introduces room for error. Would love to see this feature implemented.

This is a feature you get on Monday-useful in so many ways. In my case I often need to fit more columns in as I have processes with a large number of stages, but some only contain e.g. a two digit number and some need longer descriptions on dropdown tabs.
