Add due dates to assigned comments and show them on the calendar and allow closing them off from the calendar view.
also have a list level comment and assignee
@Oded G: You can assign a list to someone in 2.0, it's just a bit hard to find.
* Open your list and be in a "list" view (not a board or calendar view).
* Ensure your tasks are grouped by "Status (default)".
* At the top of each of your lists, you should see an "i" icon; click that for the list you want to assign to someone.
* This should open the list details in a half pane on the right side. Here you can set an assignee, start and due dates.
Hope that helps!
Would also work to have a button for turning an assigned comment into a task / subtask.
Definitely useful. Often I find that I add a comment to a task and that comment will contain a 'task'. Even if it's as simple as "update the drawing to include X/y/z".
Often these are time sensitive. For the time being I have to say "by today". Would be good if these words were interpreted by ClickUp and an actual date was linked to the assigned comment.
I don't want to create a subtask just for this.
Similarly, the same principles apply to checklist items. Even if a checklist item doesnt need to have all the statuses of a subtask, or the need to capture comments and attachments, it still would benefit from a due date.
In my opinion. :)
